Island Cottage and Cill Cottage are ideally located in the heart of Connemara, 47 miles West Of Galway City and 2.5 miles approx. from Roundstone Village, on the Unique Island on Innishnee, (which is joined to the mainland by bridge).

Both Cottages are located on a large site, overlooking the Sea and Twelve Bens Mountains, in a haven of tranquillity and wild beauty , often referred to as the most scenic area of Connemara. Perfectly situated within driving distance to the Connemara National Park, Aran Islands Ferry, The Burren, Kylemore Abbey, Gurteen Beach , Dog’s Bay and Inishbofin, to name but a few.

Island Cottage

"Island Cottage" is a traditional 'Connemara-Style' Cottage, originally built over 100 years ago and very characteristic to the area. It has superb views of mountains and the sea from the interior. Newly renovated & totally refurbished to a very high standard, to include 2 double bedrooms, 1 en-suite( on ground floor),1 triple bedroom =1 double bed and 1 single bed on first floor), sitting-room with a designed stone open fireplace and Sky Digital TV, large fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances, dining room with double doors which leads on to a patio area, and a bathroom with an electric powered shower, fan heater and storage shelves. There are pine floors throughout the cottage with sheepskin rugs.

The triple bedroom is accessible by open-plan stairs, leading from ground floor. There are 2 roof windows in this bedroom which provide beautiful views of the surrounding island .There is a stunning split level effect to the rear of the cottage, with windows from floor to ceiling to capture the stunning views of sea and mountains. The kitchen and dining room are located on lower ground floor. Both Cottages now have wireless internet access.

There are over 100 channels to suit every taste – World News Channels, including FOX NEWS, CNN, SKY, CNBC, BLOOMBERG etc.., Children’s Channels, Movies, Discovery, Music, Entertainment, History, Living TV, National Geographic and many more.

(No pets are allowed at the cottages)

"Island Cottage" now sleeps 7 adults and is available all year on a weekly basis or for a minimum of 2 nights.

"Cill Cottage" is a newly-built stone cottage, located on a large site, surrounded by large green fields, overlooking the sea, and offers breathtaking views of mountains and the sea from all rooms inside. My Connemara Pony roams the fields adjacent to the cottages and has provided many guests with some fantastic photos.

Located close to “Island Cottage” it comprises of one large bedroom with king-size bed. Fully-fitted pine kitchen, sitting room with stone open fireplace, Widescreen TV with Sky Satellite channels and DVD PLAYER, 15 popular films supplied, convertible couch which changes to a double bed if necessary and sliding glass doors to a joining patio area. Also large bathroom with storage room attached. "Cill Cottage" sleeps 2-3 people, and is available all year , minimum stay is 2 nights.
